Mandatory Rehearsal FAQ’s June 1-2

Students and Parents

 

I know there are many questions about this weekend – I hope this helps answer all your questions!

1. If I have a regular Saturday morning class …Do we have class Saturday morning ?

          YES you do! At the in 2018 its at Mitty – check with your teacher!

2. Do I need to be there all day Saturday and Sunday?

        No –  but you need to attend the scheduled time for EVERYONE on Saturday at 12:30 and your scheduled class/group rehearsal – see                schedule below.

3. Can I come and go?

         Yes as long as you are there for your scheduled times?

.Why does it say Saturday @ 12:30  ALL CAST FINALE REHEARSAL – what does that mean>?

      EVERYONE in the show NEEDS TO ATTEND THIS SATURDAY  12:30 REHEARSAL TO PRACTICE THE END OF SHOW WALK OUT          AND FINAL BOWS.  If you think this does not apply to you – you are wrong – IT DOES!!

5.  Where is the MANDATORY REHEARSAL BEING HELD?

           AT Archbishop Mitty High school in the Aymar Event Center next to the parking lot facing Lawrence Expressway.

6. When should I be there?

           BE THERE SATURDAY FOR THE FINALE PRACTICE – Arrive at 12:30 and get with your class/group – we will begin            at 12:45

   And then attend all your scheduled class rehearsal times. Each class/dance has one scheduled time- see schedule below

7. What should I wear?

          Dance clothing – Leotard and tights or shorts/pants. Think Dress code ( black and black for the older levels)

8. Should we wear costumes ?

           NO

9. Should I bring all my shoes and my Tap shoes? 

NO TAP SHOES – we are not allowed to use tap shoes on this floor.

Bring all hip hop, acro, ballet and Jazz shoes if you have them  We can only wear soft shoes – you may also wear tennis shoes for tap classes.

10. Can parents go into the rehearsal space – 

ONLY Parents who signed up already to be backstage CLASS PARENTS are allowed in the rehearsal room

– Bring a Lunch and you may bring a lawn chair if you are staying for a while.
