The Dance Affair is excited to participate in the “Holly Jolly Jubilee” Disneyland Parade with Dance the Dream again this year!  The parade television taping is on Sunday, November 17, 2024 and the Dance Affair needs a minimum of 10 dancers to participate.  All dancers must be at least 10 years old, We had such a fun time last year and cannot wait to parade (and dance!) down Main Street USA in Disneyland Park again!

Each participant will need to purchase the Performer Package which includes:

  • A performer only admission ticket to Disneyland Park, Dance the Dream
  • Dress rehearsal at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel
  • Magical Treats at Rehearsal
  • Dancer Costume and tights
  • Pair of performance Pom-Poms
  • Unlimited photo and video downloads
  • Access to specially discounts hotel rooms at Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel
  • Access to specially priced admission tickets with pre-arranged reservations for dancer’s guest’s

Important Information and Performer Package Cost

  • The cost to participate is around $619  (payment is due to the studio by Aug 28).  This price includes everything listed in the Performers Package.
  • Parents or family members will be responsible for arranging the dancer’s travel to disneyland.  We hope to have a “studio caravan” and can drive down as a group. 
  • Parents will be responsible for all hotel and food costs.
  • Female dancers will need to provide Keds Canvas sneakers (TIE version-not slip on).  Male dancers may purchase any all-black sneaker with no visible logo.
  • The studio will receive the parade choreography about July 15th and will need to submit a video of the dancers performing the parade choreography by October 1st.
  • Rehearsals will begin on Friday, September 6th and will be held weekly until November 17th.   Class time is 6:45-7:30.
  • The parade timeline will be received about 10 days prior to the performance.  It will include specific times for check-in, check out and parade details.
  • Each participant must commit to weekly rehearsals beginning September 8th.  Note that dancers missing more than 3 rehearsals will no longer be eligible to participate in the parade and there are no refunds.  Please check your schedule carefully before committing to your parade participation. 
  • Class fee will be charged accordingly
  • Dancer Rhinestone Earrings can be purchased in the office or online (approx cost is $15)

Important Dates to note:

  • Payment to participate is due to the Dance Affair by no later than Aug 28th.  At that date all Money collected will be paid to Dance the Dream.  Again, all studio participants must be paid in full by the  Aug 28th deadline.
  • Parade Performance will be November 17th, 2024 at the Anaheim Disneyland Park
  • Dress Rehearsal will be at The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel November 17th, 2024 at time TBD.

Travel and lodging are separate and paid independently. There are group rates at the Majestic Hotel in Anaheim for our studio – mention Dance the Dream. This is where we rehearsal and walk to Disneyland from the hotel on parade day. It’s easiest to stay at the Majestic – but not mandatory and totally up to individual families to choose.
