Summer Dance in San Jose

Our summer dance tuition is below. Class tuition is based on class length. Pay for the 5-week session or pay by the class. We understand that families need flexibility in the summer! Camp extended care is available for select camps at an additional fee. Please contact the studio to learn more. New students joining us for the summer are not charged a registration fee.

40 min. Classes | $120/5 weeks or $28/ class

1-hour Classes | $130/ 5 weeks or $30/ class

1.25- hour Classes | $142/ 5 weeks or $32/ class

1.5-hour Classes | $165/ 5 weeks or $37/class

We offer trials to all new students at The Dance Affair in classes with availability. Attending a trial is an amazing way to see our programs in action!

A proper dress code keeps our dancers safe and promotes teamwork among our students. 

All students should have their hair pulled off their faces. A bun is required for ballet classes. Please leave all jewelry at home. All dress code items can be ordered at our front desk.

Mini Sparklers | Pink ballet shoes, pink leotard (skirt optional), pink tights

Acro | Black acro shoes or barefoot (check with your teacher), black leotard or unitard, black bike shorts

Jazz | Black jazz shoes, black leotard (any color for levels 3-4), black shorts or dance pants (any color for levels 3-4), tights or socks

Tap | Black oxford tap shoes, black leotard (any color for levels 3-4), black shorts or dance pants (any color for levels 3-4), tights or socks

Musical Theater | Black jazz shoes, black leotard (any color for levels 3-4), black shorts or dance pants (any color for levels 3-4), tights or socks

Hip Hop | Black dance sneakers, black leotard, black shorts or dance pants, no baggy shirts

Contemporary | Tan jazz shoes (level 1), barefoot or foot undeez (level 2+), black leotard (any color for levels 2+), black shorts or dance pants (any color for levels 2+)

Ballet | Pink ballet shoes, black leotard (any color for levels 3-4), pink tights, ballet shorts or skirt optional

Boys | Shoes appropriate to style of class, white or black dance shirt, black shorts or dance pants

All of our summer camps include dedicated time for dancing, crafts, games, and snacks. Camps are open to students of all levels. No previous dance experience is required. 

Campers should bring a water bottle, snack and lunch each day.  

Half Day camp available for pre-rated price.

3 camps ends with an informal performance (or celebration!) for families! Splash camp ends with a fun water splash day.
